Qualcomm introduced its Snapdragon X platform for budget PCs at CES 2025, and the new octa-core CPUs will rival Intel and AMD’s affordable chips. It includes support for AI features through a neural processing unit (NPU) and is claimed to offer enhanced battery efficiency. The platform is set to power sub-$600 (roughly Rs. 51,400) Arm-based Windows laptops.
