The USS Zumwalt is being upgraded with hypersonic missile technology through the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) system. Capable of speeds over Mach 5, these missiles promise faster, more precise strikes from long distances. The integration of this technology will enhance the stealth destroyer’s strike capabilities. Testing of the system is expected to begin soon.
