After a communication failure caused by a power glitch in October, NASA has restored contact with Voyager 1. The spacecraft, now 15.4 billion miles away, continues to transmit data from its remaining instruments. The probe’s systems were affected by energy limitations, but the problem was resolved in November, allowing its scientific mission to continue.
