Google’s request to temporarily pause an order directing it to overhaul the Play Store to give consumers more choice over how they download software, was granted by a federal judge in California. The company had argued that the October 7 injunction would harm the company and introduce “serious safety, security and privacy risks into the Android ecosystem.”
