WhatsApp will soon help users protect their account and optimise device via a new ‘Block unknown account messages’ toggle that prevents certain messages from being delivered to users via unknown accounts. Meanwhile, the messaging app has started testing like reactions for WhatsApp status updates on the latest beta version of the app for Android smartphones.
