OpenAI reportedly has built a tool that can detect when text has been generated using its artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot, but is unwilling to release it to the public. As per the report, the tool is ready to be launched for quite some time, but the AI firm is concerned that such a detection tool might make the chatbot unpopular among users.
