Indonesia’s investment minister has announced that the country anticipates a $1 billion investment pledge from Apple within a week. The announcement follows the ban on iPhone 16 sales in the country due to non-compliance with local regulations. While Apple lacks manufacturing facilities in Indonesia, it has established application developer academies since 2018.
