Apple will purchase Pixelmator, the maker of a popular high-end photo-editing app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac computers. Pixelmator said in a blog post that its team would be joining the iPhone maker. Apple’s customers should gain access to a high-end photo editing app for the first time since the company discontinued Aperture.
