TSMC is said to have halted shipments to the China-based company Sophgo following the discovery of its chip in a Huawei AI processor. Huawei faces restrictions on purchasing such technology to safeguard U.S. national security. The means by which the chip was incorporated into the Huawei product remains undetermined by Reuters.
