Intel and AMD have formed an x86 ecosystem advisory group, as the chipmakers look to counter growing competition from Arm. Despite their rivalry, the two semiconductor giants will collaborate with multiple industry partners such as Lenovo, Dell, Google, HP, Microsoft, and Meta to delivery x86 software compatibility across their processors.
