Honor is developing a new foldable technology that could lead to a device with a multi-directional folding displays. According to a new patent document a device built with this multi-directional folding screen would provide the benefits of a compact clamshell-style foldable, while also delivering a larger screen when needed, just like a book-style folding phone.
