EU antitrust regulators have initiated proceedings to ensure Apple adheres to significant regulations that mandate opening its proprietary ecosystem to competitors. Through the specification proceedings, the European Commission will detail the actions Apple must take to comply with the Digital Markets Act (DMA), which was enacted in 2023.
