Recent research led by forensic anthropologist Alexandra L. Morton-Hayward from the University of Oxford has unveiled that human brains can endure preservation for up to 12,000 years. This groundbreaking study analysed over 4,400 preserved brains from various archaeological sites, revealing that brains can remain intact far longer than previously assumed.
