SpaceX’s latest mission is part of the Polaris Program, a human-spaceflight initiative funded by billionaire entrepreneur Jared Isaacman. Polaris Dawn is set to make history by conducting the first-ever private spacewalk, with Isaacman commanding the mission alongside pilot Scott “Kidd” Poteet, and SpaceX engineers Sarah Gillis and Anna Menon.
